He sees investing in his team to be just as crucial as building a loyal customer base.

In his very own words "the success of a small business depends largely on its team."

"A good man who can find?

Consider someone who takes initiative without being asked, works overtime without expectation of compensation, and still shows up on their day off to ensure everyone's on track without being prompted. And does all this even when they are not feeling well. That's Ed. That's the kind of person he is."

"FARM4fam ventured into fish farming, but it proved to be a challenging experience. Our initial projections estimated a certain number of fish deaths over four months. However, we alarmingly surpassed that number within just two weeks. The projected mortality rates for the upcoming months looked grim.

I gave a marching order: 'Stop the deaths!'"

"Ed, our dedicated team member, sprang into action. Throughout the week, he tirelessly worked to identify the root cause and develop solutions. On a Friday night, Ed worked tirelessly with experts until 9pm and his determination paid off, they successfully halted the deaths.

This is the kind of dedication that fuels small business success."

When Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard founded HP in 1939, they didn't have a clear vision or a specific product in mind. Instead, they had a strong partnership, a shared passion for innovation, and a talented team, which they poured into.

As the saying goes, "the vision is nothing without a runner." Hewlett and Packard's collaborative spirit, adaptability, and willingness to experiment, combined with their commitment to team building and empowering their team members, allowed them to turn their vague ideas into groundbreaking products, revolutionizing the tech industry. Their story serves as a testament to the power of team building and how it can turn a vision into reality.

"I believe the highest compliment one can receive is not praise or admiration, but genuine respect. When someone earns my respect, it means they've demonstrated exceptional character, integrity, and values that align with my own. Ed, you have consistently shown these qualities, and I want you to know that you have my deepest respect. Your contributions to FARM4fam is valued and highly appreciated."
